Classical antecedent: Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang (Tonifying the Centre and Benefiting Qi Decoction)
Indications:
Exhaustion, Chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, dizziness, poor appetite, slight muscle ache and fatigue, poor memory and concentration, slight breathlessness, prolapse of uterus, stomach or bladder.
Indications in Chinese Medicine:
Pattern: Qi deficiency, residual Dampness in the muscles.
Action: Tonify Lung- and Spleen-Qi, raise Yang, lift depression, resolve Dampness from the muscles.
Tongue: Pale, teethmarks.
Pulse: Weak.
Action: Tonify Lung- and Spleen-Qi, raise Yang, lift depression, resolve Dampness from the muscles.
